In 2006, Cd. Acuña experienced the thrill of the Northern Pamplonada for the first time. Inspired by Spain's famous Fiesta de San Fermín, this event brought adrenaline, culture, and celebration to the border. Over several editions, it became an iconic tradition in northern Mexico and southern Texas.
Over time, Running Las Vacas stopped taking place, but the passion and spirit of the event never faded. Today, after years of absence, it returns with more energy and excitement than ever.

If you’re coming from the United States, we have a designated parking area in Del Rio, Texas, where you can leave your vehicle and easily cross into Cd. Acuña.
